Sustainable Development.

Meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. There is an additional focus on the present generations' responsibility to improve the future generations life by restoring the previous ecosystem damage and resisting to contribute to further ecosystem damage. Educating youth on Sustainable Development and any related subject gives us a hope of creating a sustainable future for the new generations.

Weaving the Network.

Facilitating connections among people, crossing geographical, digital, demographic, economic, social, and ideological boundaries. We are working closely with schools, local communities, environmental agencies, ministries and governments. We will need your help and support, comments and critiques, inputs and insights. We will use social networks, blogs, and media to raise awareness about this project, and to keep you all informed about our progress.

Leading by Example.

Our objective is to provide a platform for embedding sustainable development into curricula. Unless we change our mindsets and adopt sustainability as a way of life, we will be facing some serious challenges and issues that might prove to be impossible to overcome. The sooner we provide youth with coherent and transparent information about sustainable living and sustainable development, the better for societies in general, as today's children and youth will grow into tomorrow's decision makers.

Sustainable Living.

Seeking to use the natural principles of ecology to live in the environment without taking anything from it that can’t be replaced. Practitioners of sustainable living often attempt to reduce their carbon footprint by altering methods of transportation, energy consumption and diet. "Sustainable Living is shifting to a renewable energy-based, reuse/recycle economy with a diversified transport system." Lester R. Brown.

Environmental Sustainability.

The health of the environment is closely linked with the health of society in general. Sustainable practices ensure that the Earth's resources will be available for future generations to enjoy, and that there will be an Earth to enjoy them on. Sustainability aims to balance the needs of human societies with the needs of the environment. Sustainability promotes biodiversity, the preservation of unique ecosystems, the health of the environment, and a high quality of life.

Social Sustainability

Responsible global citizenship is an inescapable element of what may at first glance seem to be simply matters of personal consumer and moral choice. Social sustainability encompasses human rights, labor rights, and corporate governance. With the exposure to natural cycle of life at an early age, it allows youth to foresee the inevitable destination of biological life. It also enhances the subtlety in an individual's perspective on understanding between "wants" and "needs" in life.

Common goal. Sustainable future.

To be able to think out of the box first you need to think inside the box. Education for Sustainability brings together environmentalists, teachers, governmental institutions, community groups, volunteers and students in an effort to deliver imaginative solutions that would improve compulsory education on environment and sustainable development. We use creative thinking to acknowledge and reject the accepted paradigm in order to come up with new ideas on introducing education on sustainability to every school.
